Consoles

It's VC Monday, and the World Yawns...

In an effort to keep the fanboys crying, Nintento has come out with another mediocre (at best) list of releases for the Virtual Console. The list for this week: Mighty Bomb Jack (NES) Final Fight (SNES) Ordyne (TG16) I wont be purchasing any this week but I suppose its a worthy time to go back through and find a classic I may have missed in the past. Check out Bulerias's reviews for this week and past weeks HERE. And for the full press release from Nintendo, read on.

Castlevania Comes to the VC!!!

That's right, the classic game that started the series, Castlevania has found its way onto the Nintendo Wii Virtual Console! Along with The Legend of the Mystical Ninja and Shockman, this is another decent week for the VC. Read on for the full announcement which is also found at press.nintendo.com.

Good News for RPG Fans?

As a Wii owner and RPG fan, I have been a little disappointed with the lack of RPGs on both the console and the Virtual Console. But things may start to change as on May 1st, Nintendo will own 80% of game developer Monolith Soft. Monolith is responsible for Xenosaga which has mainly been for Playstation. If this trend continues we should keep seeing great things in the future from Nintendo. Read on for the full press release from Nintendo.

New Update to the Wii!

Wii's Success Surprised Game Developers

According to an article at Bloomberg.com: "...Electronic Arts Inc., like some of its competitors, underestimated demand for the Wii..." The article also goes on to say, "Now, publishers are scrambling to get titles to the 3.56 million U.S. and Japanese Wii owners who have made the machine the top-selling game console this year."

OMG SRSLY

Welcome to my crappy Nintendo Fanboy site. I'm hoping that this will be a sort of site for adults who are Nintendo fans... especially the forums.
